UN Zambia Newsletter: July-December 2023

We can look back with pride at the many results we have accomplished as we worked together in the past year in support of Zambia’s development and humanitarian priorities, Delivering as One.

drive us to push the boundaries and deliver exceptional experiences in support of meeting the various needs in the country based on the priorities of the Government and people of Zambia.

In this edition of our newsletter, you will read about how the UN is working with Youth Digital Influencers to champion advocacy for water and the environment, construction of a medical oxygen production plant in Kitwe District, allocation of US$200,000 Technical Cooperation Fund to the Plant Pathology Unit and how social protection is a key strategy that can lift people out of poverty.

Deep dive into how the UN is supporting the fight against gender-based violence through village-led stop centres,
